KELSEY M. POWELL, PE

PRINCIPAL ENGINEER, OWNER

Kelsey is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a BS in Civil Engineering. Kelsey has nearly 20 years of experience engineering and designing buildings and other structures in the private, municipal, and federal markets. He founded the firm with the main goal of providing clients with responsive service and practical design solutions in a timely manner. In his free time, Kelsey enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons whether that be going on trips to new places, weekends at the baseball field, hunting, fishing, or having boat days around Charleston.

DAVE LINDER

ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN

Dave is a graduate of The College of Charleston with a BA in Studio Art. He has over 25 years of experience in the creation of A/E construction documents. In his downtime he enjoys playing old-time fiddle and banjo as well as creating watercolor landscape sketches around the Lowcountry.

Matt Perry, PE

SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER

Matt is a graduate of Clemson University with a BS in Civil Engineering and is a licensed PE in the states of North and South Carolina. He has 13 years of experience in structural engineering design and analysis of buildings and building component. His experience accounts for renovation and new construction projects across residential, commercial, municipal, federal, multi-family, and industrial industries. He is currently responsible for executing design computations, developing design criteria, structural plans, and reports. Matt’s experienced engineering background along with several years of 3D Building Information Modeling (BIM) skills allow him to provide creative problem-solving strategies necessary to ensure a successful design process for both clients and contractors. He is passionate about Clemson football and enjoys spending weekends at the beach with his wife and Boston Terrier.

Preston Corpis, EIT

Engineer-in-Training

Preston is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a BS in Civil Engineering. Preston has been a team member since 2021. He is eager to learn and always ready to help our clients with their structural engineering and design needs. He proudly serves our Country as a Tech Sargent reservist in the South Carolina Air National Guard. In his 13 years with the SCANG, he has served multiple deployments overseas. Preston leverages his military background to be an efficient and dependable team member in the firm.
